Founder’s Message

“We aim to challenge the discrimination specially abled people face in Nepali society and empower them to live with dignity, skill, and independence.”

Dear friends,
Yes Helping Hands (YHH) was established in 2011 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization. Our mission is to challenge the discrimination faced by specially abled individuals in mainstream Nepali society and to help them lead independent, dignified lives.

We began our journey by helping blind and deaf individuals, but we have now extended opportunities to people with a wide range of disabilities. We provide free practical training and employment opportunities in handloom weaving for the blind, deaf, and physically disabled. This not only raises their self-esteem but also improves their family’s income and overall quality of life.

All products sold in our store are handmade by blind, deaf, and specially abled artisans. We use natural and azo-free dyed pashmina and cashmere threads to ensure sustainability and quality.

We are proud to present our catalogue of handmade products, created with passion and skill using traditional handloom weaving and natural materials. Each product reflects our artisans’ creativity, resilience, and craftsmanship.

We are deeply thankful to our customers, supporters, and well-wishers for your continuous encouragement and contributions. Your feedback and suggestions inspire us to do better every day.

Thank you,

Dinesh Kumar Thapa
