About Yes Helping Hand

Empowering specially abled individuals and marginalized groups through skill, compassion, and craftsmanship.

What began as a small shop employing a few specially abled individuals has grown into an organization devoted to saving and developing lives in need. Helping Hands Handicrafts started by providing training to the deaf and blind, empowering them to become economically and emotionally independent. Over time, our mission expanded to include people with various disabilities, trafficked girls and women, and others neglected by society.

Our model is simple but powerful: we recruit individuals in need, provide training, food, and shelter, then sell the handmade products they create. The profits are distributed among them, while the remaining funds are reinvested to help more people. So far, Helping Hands has donated to three schools, rebuilt 672 homes destroyed by earthquakes, and positively changed 180 lives.

At Helping Hand Handicrafts, we produce exquisite handmade products made of Pashmina, Silk, and Cashmere. Every part of the mountain goat is used to sustain herdsmen and their families, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Our fibers are sourced ethically from Ladakh, Tibet, and Nepal — empowering women and promoting fair trade.

“Dirty hands and damaged lives make beautiful products.”
