Yes Helping Hands (YHH) is proud to present the "Each One, Teach One" program, where our dedicated artisans, differently-abled individuals and single mothers will guide you through an unforgettable learning experience. Over the course of 2 hour, these skilled craftsmen and women will teach you the intricacies of training Nepali crafts, including:
- Pashmina production
- Dhaka weaving
- Hand-knitting
- Nepali carpet knotting
- Painting
By participating in this program, not only will you gain hands-on experience in these beautiful art forms, but you will also be contributing to a greater cause. All fees collected from these training sessions go towards providing education and essential support for the children of single mothers and differently-abled individuals.
This is more than just a workshop, it’s an opportunity to support and empower local communities while immersing yourself in the rich heritage of Nepali culture.

Program Overview:
- Hands-On Experience: Learn directly from artisans, including differently-abled individuals, marginalized individuals and single mothers, who excel in traditional Nepali crafts.
- Duration: Choose a flexible schedule, from a 1-day introductory class to a 7-day immersive journey.
- Fee: NPR 6,000 per class (2 hours daily)
- Itinerary Highlights:
- Day 1: Learn to spin yarn, create a Tuki, and explore handloom weaving for Pashmina and Dhaka.
- Day 2: Craft your own small stole or shawl using Pashmina or Dhaka fabric.
- Day 3: Set up a handloom and begin pattern weaving with Dhaka designs.
- Day 4: Discover basic knitting techniques and crochet making.
- Day 5: Dive into painting, experiment with miniature canvas painting or sketchbook techniques.
- Day 6: Explore color mixing and pattern creation in Dhaka textiles.
- Day 7: Learn about the basics of Nepali carpet production and traditional carpet knotting.
